Raspberry Ketone

A natural phenolic compound, made up primarily of an aroma compound of red raspberries that is used in perfumery, cosmetics and as a food additive. Raspberry ketone is synthesised from coumaroyl-CoA. Raspberry ketone has been shown to prevent high fat diet-induced elevations in body weight.

It is an aid to weight loss by generating Adiponectin, an enzyme that enables the metabolism of consumed food. It is a potential fat burner and dietary supplement when combined with other anti-oxidents, such as African Mango and Acai Berry.

Dosage

Take supplements approximately 30 minutes prior to the first meal of the day to benefit from the appetite-reducing effects.

Take approximately 200mg per day, with the best effects when broken down to 100mg at breakfast and 100mg at lunchtime.

In pill or capsule format of 100mg, although some are of 50mg so allow for taking more if required to reach recommended dosage.

If you take more than 300mg a day, you may feel much warmer than normal and with higher levels of energy, but as it is a naturally occurring product any excess is expelled by the body as waste.
